Year 11 IGCSE Arabic Students at KES paid a visit to the book fair:
There are plenty of ways of practicing your language skills, one of them is reading a book and realising how to form complex sentences, how to use metaphors and write in descriptive ways.
In Year 11, Mr Ahmed Sabbagh has decided to set his class a reading project where every student studies a book or a novel they’ve purchased thus their writing language would be ameliorated. Mr Ahmed was keen to take the whole class to the book fair so he could guide us to which book satisfies each student in his project and he also helped them to find books for them to read at home during their leisure time. Mrs Suhad Al Attar accompanied us on the trip in order to make sure that all of students walked together and didn’t get lost during the journey.
The pupils inquired the marketers for their recommendations on books that would enlighten them and they would enjoy reading. The students were dazzled at how the marketers knew everything about every single novel they had in store and what the other marketer in the book fair had as well even though this book fair only visits Kuwait annually. They had all sorts of books such as politics, history, fashion and religions worldwide.
This was the first time for most of the students to visit a book fair in Kuwait because no one usually informs them about these opportunities. They were astonished and very excited to read Arabic novels or books because they realise how exceptional they were. The students were very thankful to Mr Ahmed Al Sabbagh and Mrs Suhad Al Attar for taking them on an educational trip.
