On Sunday 6th May 2018 Green Unit Senior students attended the annual ASDAN Award Ceremony. This event is a wonderful celebration of achievements that students have completed over the years.
Awards were given to students who have accomplished their Bronze, Silver and Gold certifications, and who have completed many tasks to reach these goals. Students were honoured to have their certificates presented to them by KALD Chairperson – Mrs Amaal Al Sayer and Ambassador of Australia to Kuwait – HE Jonathan Gilbert.
This evening also congratulated 8 students who have completed their education journey with the Green Unit and will be sadly leaving at the end of this academic year.
It was a lovely event with musical presentations from the GU Junior and Senior Choirs, who sang ‘Power in Me,’ which won first prize at the KALD Talent show earlier this year.
