History Brought to Life Again at Kuwait English School

The 13th Kuwait English School Junior History Day proved to be its best ever. Year 6 students, dressed in World War 2 attire, ably demonstrated their vast knowledge of British and World History in an exciting quiz. Year 3 students dazzled as they brought the world of Ancient Egypt to life with their glittering costumes.

Year 4 were positively menacing in their portrayal of fierce Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Viking invaders. The highlight was the Tudor banquet with exquisite costumes, perfectly choreographed dancing and a marvellous rendition of Greensleeves on the guitar by Alwaleed Alslaysil. Students, staff and parents worked hard to provide delicious food dishes appropriate to each period.
