Kuwait English School Infant Choir, Recorder Group and Violinists’ Concert

The Infant choir, recorder group and violinists performed a fantastic concert for their parents led by Miss Babayeva.

The year 1 and year 2 students were invited to listen to the choir and enjoyed hearing the lovely songs very much.

The choir sang a number of songs they have spent a lot of time learning and practicing including a song from Mary Poppins! The students sang beautifully.

Two students, Fatemah in 2B and Marco in 2A, sang their own solos. Fatemah sang ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and Marco sang ‘I’ve Got No Strings’ from Pinocchio. Both students were so brave to sing in front of so many people and they were superb. Well done Fatemah and Marco!

After the choir sung, the recorder group and violinists also performed. All of the students demonstrated how much they have practised and learnt in such a short time. We are so proud of your achievements in music.

Congratulations to all of the Infant Choir, Recorder group and Violinists for a superb concert. A massive thank you to Miss Babayeva for all her hard work in teaching these students and Mr Markovic for teaching the violinists so fantastically.
