On Tuesday Prep Department celebrated Green Day. This day, well known as ECO-friendly day was filled with fun and loads to learn for our little students. Green balloons on the main gate and playgrounds, children and teachers dressed in green outfits, classrooms boards beautifully decorated with children’s various green art and crafts projects and some green objects displayed around were there to emphasise the green colour.
Children learnt to identify and recognise green fruits, vegetables, plants and objects. Some children brought green apples, cucumbers or green grapes to school to share with their friends. Teachers mentioned to children about different virtues of green like; the Traffic light green means “Go”, The green colour is also the colour of our school uniform and the school logo, green is also the top colour of the Kuwaiti Flag which symbolizes our country’s fertile land.
