Drama

Kuwait English School develops citizenship by the integration of the 17 UN Sustainable Goals through the medium of Drama, celebrating the diversity and individual talents of each of our students.

Drama is a medium which empowers the presenter and offers  a  unique solution to a dramatic challenge through teamwork and inclusion. Every piece of theatre, a performance to share with an audience, addresses a message through educating, enlightening  and entertaining. It is a training in self discipline, presentation and leadership skills. It involves observation, evaluation, problem solving, dialogue, teamwork, organisation skills and personal presentation.

THE DRAMA CURRICULUM

Drama at Kuwait English School is a  very important part of the curriculum. To prepare all students for presentations in all walks of life we deliver it to every student throughout the school up until Year 9. Thereafter it is offered as an external exam subject at both IGCSE level and GCE AS and A level.

The Senior Drama department is proud to be a driving force behind Kuwait English School’s CULTURAL SEASON and our Four Festivals through presentation and performance.
