Doctor Safar visited the students of the Infant Department today to talk about healthy eating and obesity.
Doctor Safar explaining about how important it is to have healthy lifestyle with plenty of exercise and healthy food. Students participated in questions to test their knowledge about how to keep healthy.
Dr Safar also discussed how obesity is a problem in Kuwait and how important it is that our young students maintain a healthy weight and eat a balanced diet.
Tips for a healthy lifestyle
Have a healthy breakfast every day
Do 30 minutes of exercise at least 3 times per week
Eat lots of fruits and vegetables
Chocolate, sweets and fried foods should be a rare treat
Drink at least 6 glasses of water every day
