Green Unit updates
Another very busy week ahead with plenty of exciting activities planned for every day.
- Term 1 Parents Day – no students Tuesday 16th October
- I am looking forward to seeing parents of our students on Tuesday 16th October. We will have translators ready when needed to ensure efficient communication. Seniors should accompany their parents, our aim is to fully engage older students in the learning process. IEPs (Individual Educational Plans) are available on School Portal, please see your son/daughter targets for term 1. We shall discuss those at the PT Day.
- Breast Cancer Awareness Week
- This week is designated as breast cancer awareness week. As part of raising student awareness of breast cancer, the students can wear a pink tie (boys) or a pink hairband (girls), for the week starting on Sunday 14th to Thursday 18th October.
- On Wednesday 17th October we will be having a Mufti Day. The reason for this Mufti Day is to raise student awareness of breast cancer, and as such students taking part need to wear something pink (not a pink hat).
- Mid Term holiday Sunday 21 to Thursday 25th October
- This term was so far quite busy however, once we are back from the mid term break, we have to face a number of big events and challenges. I wish all students a relaxing holiday; enjoy, rest and come back safely:)
