Chris Hansen
Head of School

BA Hons, PGCE, MBA

Mr Hansen holds a degree from the City of London and an MBA. Mr Hansen is a well-qualified and experienced British educator and leader, who has held leadership posts in prestigious British schools in Bangladesh, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. With a thorough understanding of British education in the MENA region, Mr Hansen has established himself as a foremost learning and teaching expert, and as an accomplished and respected leader and administrator. Mr Hansen also brings creative skills, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit from his experience beyond the education sector.  He is a lifelong supporter of Arsenal and a follower of F1.

Michael Hassan
Director of Learning and Teaching

BA (Hons), PGCE

Michael Hassan holds an Honours degree in Music from the University of Leeds where he received a scholarship and gained his PGCE from the University of Huddersfield. He was nominated for a UK Teaching Award for his practice early in his career. He worked at a number of leading schools in England before moving to Kuwait English School in 2010. Michael has held a number of leadership positions at the school and is also a qualified development lead in the Teaching Effectiveness Enhancement Programme.

Caroline Lynskey
Director of Wellbeing
BA (Hons), PGCE
 
Caroline Lynskey holds an honors degree in Design from Liverpool John Moores University, and a PGCE from Aberystwyth University. She began teaching in the city of Birmingham before launching her overseas career in Cairo, Egypt and then relocating to Kuwait. She has recently qualified as a Mental Health First Aider for both youth and adults.

Faten Alkadiri
Head of Human Resources

EMBA, CPC

Faten Alkadiri holds an honors degree in Finance and IT. She also holds a Master's Degree in Executive Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah (AUS). Her career in HR started at AUK where she stayed 12 years before moving to Kuwait English School with a mission of building the HR Department. Faten is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) focusing on Corporate Executive Leadership and starting SMEs. She recently qualified as a Certified People Analytics for HR (PAHR) from Human Capital Institute HCI.

John Price
Secondary School Head Teacher

B.Sc (Hons)

John Price has a Special Honours Degree in Pure chemistry. Academically he has taught Chemistry and held the positions of Head of Chemistry, and Head of Science. On the pastoral side, he has been a form tutor, a Head of House, and a Head of Year, before becoming Assistant Principal (Pastoral). A position he held at Kuwait English School for 20 years. From 2021 to today he is the Headteacher of Secondary School.

Frances Lennon
Primary School Head Teacher

BA, PGCE, MA (Ed)

Frances Lennon holds a degree in English and Politics from Queen’s University of Belfast, along with a PGCE and MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Roehampton. Her teaching career began in London where she taught for several years. She also has a CELTA qualification and has worked for the British Council. She is presently completing her studies for the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers, (NPQH).

Kismet Al Zuhair
Early Years Head Teacher

Kismet Alzuhair is an accomplished educator with a wealth of experience in the field of early childhood education. She earned her BA from the University of Arizona, and further honed her expertise by obtaining a diploma in Childhood Psychology and Inclusion.  For over 3 decades, Kismet has been a member of the Kuwait English School community, and she has worn many hats during her tenure, serving as a teacher, Year Head, Deputy Head, and currently holding the position of Head Teacher at the Early Years Department.

Homa Mohammad
Green Unit Head Teacher

BA, PGCE

Homa Mohammad holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a PGCE from the University of Sunderland. She has a distinguished career, having served as the Infant and Junior Coordinator and Deputy Head for a decade. She is dedicated to enhancing the education of students with special educational needs (SEN) and plays a pivotal role in training and mentoring teachers in this field. Presently, she is in the process of pursuing her National Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH).
