Sports plays a big part in the life of Kuwait English School and its students. Besides the weekly PE lessons of all students from KG through to year 13, Sports Studies is offered as a GCSE subject at years 10 and 11, and a GCE A level subject in years 12 and 13.

Sports are promoted through our Healthy Lifestyles week and our Health and Fitness programme. Students are encouraged to eat healthily and to take regular exercise in order to live a long and healthy life.

In addition KES students are a part of the KFSAC and ISACK organisations which organise interschools competitions within Kuwait in Football, Unihoc, Netball, Benchball, Cricket and Swimming at the Junior level [KFSAC] and in Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Football and Swimming at the Senior High School level [ISACK].

Kuwait English School is also a member of BSME and takes part in Games organised throughout the Middle East.

We have an excellent record of success in all competitions nearly always winning and becoming champions or making it to the Finals.

Other sporting activities include House Competitions with the winning houses earning points for their House, and also extracurricular sports which are not for the school teams.
