Students have been busy participating in a variety of fitness events as part of ‘Healthy Lifestyle Week,’ including morning exercises and making and eating healthy snacks.

Najla Al Jeraiwi – a Kuwaiti Triathlon Athlete – came to visit GU Juniors and Seniors to discuss the importance of a Healthy lifestyle. She talked about the importance of eating healthy and being active for at least one hour a day. Students were able to ask Najla a variety of questions as well as see her bicycle which she uses to compete in Triathlon competitions.

A selection of students also participated in the Quran competition earlier this week. Winners will be announced at a later date, but congratulations to all who took part.

Another Arabic workshop was held this week. ‘Thank You,’ to all the Parents who attended.
