The Year 5/6 Girls Football Team won their KFSAC competition yesterday, Saturday, 25 November 2023.
They scored 20 goals throughout the competition and only conceded 1. Malak Taha (5C) scored 13 individual goals and put in an amazing performance for her and her teammates. She has been chosen as the KES player of the competition, along with Fatima Al Sabah (6F), who played amazingly as a goalkeeper. Layan Al Garadi (6F) and Serena Saab (6A) are the captains of the team and they deserve a special mention for their effort and leadership.
The Year 5/6 Boys Football Team finished the competition in 4th place. They played very well, and the effort from the whole team was brilliant throughout the competition. We lost our semi-final as a result of a penalty shootout but all players can be really proud of their performance today.
The team was superbly captained by Ahmed Al Monawer (6G) and Yasien Abdellatif (5C). Our KES player of the competition is Kareem Mansour (5B).
Miss Nicolaou, Mr Lee, Ms Tehmina Hussain and Mr Richard Hall are very proud of their achievements. Congratulations!
