The Mathematics Department had the first Univerity of Waterloo Mathematics contest for this academic year, on Thursday 17 November 2022.
50 Year 9 & 10 students sat for the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest and 45 Year 11-13 students sat for the Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest.
These are mathematics contests based on the Canadian National Curriculum and organised by the University of Waterloo in Canada. More than 265 000 students from around the world in more than 80 countries sit for these contests.
At KES we take pride in participating in this contest for over 20 years with many excellent results.
