Happy New Year 2019 We have started term 2 in a positive way despite the cold weather and a late sunrise (making all of us less enthusiastic to wake up early morning). I am sure the weeks ahead will be very busy however, please do look after yourself and always find the time to do things you like and see people you love. Best of luck in 2019, have a great year. Homework diaries Please ensure your child’s homework diary is always properly maintained and regularly updated. All students should record their homework, weekly tests results (spelling & mental Math), major GU events, etc. A date should be clearly written every Sunday and parents must sign homework diaries on a weekly basis. Form tutors and class teachers will check homework diaries on Sundays. Uniform, PE and swimming kit I am not entirely happy with the standard of uniform at the moment. Students are not wearing formal shoes, tend to forget their ties, juniors in particular are not always having their blazers, winter shirts, etc. PE uniform and swimming kit must be brought to school according to the timetable. Please follow up and ensure that your son/daughter is always properly equipped to school. Senior reports & new IEP Senior reports will be available on the School Portal on Thursday 31st January. New IEP (individual educational plans) will be issued in February.
