GREEN UNIT UPDATES
Change of timetable – Monday 2nd April
To compensate for missed Thursdays we have agreed to swap the timetable, hence Monday 2nd April will be Thursday’s timetable for all KES departments.
International Autism Day/Autism Mufti Day – 2nd April
We have only started to celebrate International Autism Awareness Day last year and it has already gained popularity amongst staff and students. This time Miss Dominique and sixth form students are in charge of the whole event ensuring that there are plenty of interesting activities for everyone. Our garden will be decorated in blue and students are presented with opportunity to learn basic facts about autism. You can still buy Autism Awareness ribbons, these were brought from the UK and should be proudly worn on Monday.
Al Hasawi Quran Competition – 3rd April
A group of 20 students will participate in the annual Al Hasawi Quran Competition 2018. I would like to thank the Quran teachers for their hard work and wish all students best of luck.
British ambassador’s visit
His Excellency the British Ambassador and his wife will be visiting the school on Wednesday 4th April.
Infants and juniors special assembly for parents
The assembly will be held on Thursday 5th of April. Students and staff have worked very hard and are now ready to present the ‘Under the sea’ programme to parents and invited guests.
Select senior classes and SWS students and staff are invited to attend the performance on Thursday.
