GREEN UNIT UPDATES
Infants and juniors special assembly for parents
- Following the spectacular National and Liberation Day success we had a pleasure to watch our infants and juniors concert “Under the sea”.
- Students were confident, well prepared and most importantly, enjoyed performing on stage.
International Mufti Day
- Students can come to school in their own country’s national costume or wearing the colours of their country’s flag. There will be no exceptions to these conditions. Just a reminder – all students must follow school Mufti Day rules. Those dressed inappropriately will be sent home.
Lockdown drill
- We have missed the whole school lockdown drill last week due to a number of trips going on. Green Unit lockdown drill is scheduled for Sunday 8th April at 11.00am.
Young Shakespeare Company
- On Sunday the 8th April, the Young Shakespeare Company will be attending the school to perform a workshop and abridged performance of Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’.
- The workshop and performance starts at 12:30 pm, so GU students involved will need to leave lessons at 12:00 pm to make their way to the garden. Only students who have paid for their place may enter. Once inside, they will be seated in the hall by a staff member.
International trip to Japan 12th to 20th April
- A group of 19 seniors & SWS students to London
- International trips are a great experience for everyone, however they need a lot of time and dedication from staff. Huge thanks to all staff involved. Good luck and safe travels
