GREEN UNIT UPDATES
Al Amir Quran Competition 2018
- It is my pleasure to share with you great news about our students success in the recent Al Amir Quran Competition. Congratulations to Yousef Al Sharhan, Yahya Al Bather, Hashem Al Faili, Abdulwahab Al Ghaith, Shamayel Al Ali, Joud Al Qalaf and Rashed Al Ajmi on their outstanding performance. Words of appreciations to Mrs. Sohair, Mrs. Suhad and Mrs. Amal for their support.
National & Liberation Day Celebration Wednesday 21st February
- Our National and Liberation Day concert will start at 11.00 am.
- Green Unit National Mufti Day – students and staff can come to school wearing Kuwaiti National outfit, however, no other casual clothing is permitted.
- I would like to thank Mr. Waleed and all Arabic staff for preparing students to perform a number of dances. Special thanks to senior students for the National Day invitations, I am truly impressed with a range of beautifully presented projects.
SEN National & Liberation Day – 20th February
- We were invited to participate in the SEN National & Liberation Day Carnival. Two SWS students, will represent the unit, their artwork will be displayed in our booth.
Celebration of light – 20th February
- As part of our celebration of Kuwait’s National & Liberation Days some students have been making lanterns which will be displayed in a Celebration of Light Parade at the school on Tuesday from 6 pm. This parade will start in the school playground, take about 30 minutes and should be spectacular to watch.
