The Junior Department celebrated Kuwait National Day and Liberation Day on Tuesday with a number of special activities and events. Students swapped their school uniforms for traditional Arabic dress and colourful Kuwait themed clothes and watched their classmates perform a breathtaking assembly full of singing, dancing and readings in both Arabic and English. Back in class the students enjoyed Kuwait inspired art activities and shared delicious Arabic food. The celebrations culminated later the same evening with a magnificent ‘Festival of Light’ in which students paraded their beautiful handmade lanterns through the streets around the school.
