Two students from Kuwait English School, Abdul Rahman Altattan and Mohammed Al Faihli, both of Year 11, received a Special Achievement certificate from the Ministry of Education this month.
The students made it through to round 4 of the Kuwait Maths Olympiad and they are now in the top 14 students from all Kuwait Schools.
Were they to pass this round, they will then progress to the GCC Maths Olympiad final next term.
Members of the High Management headed by Chairman Mr Mohammed Jassim Al Saddah, School Director, Mrs Rhoda E. Muhmood MBE along with the Senior High School Principal, Mrs Janet Carew, Head of Maths, Mr Peter Unsworth and Olympiad coach, Mr Chris Glykys, all congratulate the students on their success so far and wish them the best of luck on results day.
