Reception Parents’ Assemblies and Open Days
All Parents in Reception Pink are invited to a short assembly and open day on Tuesday 6th February and Reception Orange on Thursday 8th February from 8.15am until 9.30. The children will sing a few songs to you on the stage and then there will be the opportunity for you to spend some time playing outside with your child and their friends and finding out how we learn in Reception.
Please can this be a ‘Mobile Free Time.’ We will take photographs and want you to spend quality time with your child.

Year 1 and 2 Sports Day
This will take place on Wednesday 7th February at Hasan Abul Sports Stadium Directions to Hasan Abul Sports Fields. The children should come to school at normal time in their PE uniform and will be bussed to the sports field. You are welcome to come and watch your children from 9.00am until about 10.30-11.00am. You will be able to take your child home at the end of the Sports Day.
Your child can bring a small snack in a bag that can be thrown out. They will eat this before they go to the stadium, but please make sure they have a good breakfast before they come to school. Please could they also bring their water bottle.
We will be having a practice on Monday 5th February. Please can Year 1 and 2 children wear PE kit on Monday.
THERE WILL BE NO WEDNESDAY CLUB ON WEDNESDAY AFTER SPORTS DAY.
Safeguarding
We will be holding some sessions shortly on internet safety. It is a very important issue and we and you need to ensure our children are safe online. Please take a look at this video as an introduction: Internet Safety Although this is older children in this video, it is still relevant to our younger children and we need to teach them now about internet safety, so that they are aware when they get older.
